I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand) with a BCA, MBA and GCLAW from Victoria University, and with more than 25 years of practical business experience in dealing with SMEs. I am also a licensed insolvency practitioner and have gained a qualification as a specialist forensic accountant with CANZ.
I have run my own accounting practice and worked with many small to medium size businesses and individual clients across a range of industries.
I completed my MBA in 2011, then I embarked on a new direction to start Fervor to specialise in strategic business and insolvency advice. This has allowed me to focus on assisting individuals and SME businesses, in financial distress.
I also enjoy working with businesses that want to grow and look for positive ways to enhance their position in the market.
Our business has grown steadily, with positive feedback from clients. It can be difficult to know how to make changes to your business, particularly when you’re working in it on a daily basis. By having me look at a situation from an independent perspective, it can sometimes be a matter of only making small changes that can result in quite a difference to a business or individual’s outcome.

I joined the Fervor team in 2015 following my move to the Kapiti Coast from the Manawatu. I am the Insolvency Manager and I also assist John in a variety of assignments ranging from small to large Company Liquidations and Receiverships, Creditor Compromises, Personal Insolvency matters and Business Restructures and Recovery. I really enjoy my role and love the diversity that it brings.
Prior to joining the Fervor team, I was working as a Legal Secretary and have previously worked in legal offices since finishing school. I have understaken studies to be a Registered Legal Executive through the New Zealand Law Society.
I am a friendly and approachable person who has a strong passion for helping people.

Bev joined the Fervor team in 2018 as our Administrator. Bev is involved in a variety of tasks with our liquidations and other insolvency engagements and is a great support. Bev undertook her own studies in 2020 to become a qualified Accountant to which she has now completed her study and graduated in May 2021. Bev holds specialised knowledge of bankruptcy & financial supervision together with widespread experience in office & account management.
